She usually writes about surviving nature against impossible odds–that sort of story. But this one was a new character and quite different. Still, Barr has always been a good storyteller so I cheered when Net. Galley awarded it to me.
What Rose Forgot is an outrageous, rip-roaring good time! I expected a dark, scary thriller and while there’re certainly some spooky scenes, there are many more that are over-the-top, laugh out loud hilarious.
