Of course, in Roses, you’re right between the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà and Cap de Creus natural parks. Aiguamolls de l’Empordà is Catalonia’s second-biggest wetlands, which was declared an area of national natural interest in 1983, and is a birdwatchers’ paradise. Cap de Creus has spectacular views and scenery, and certainly shouldn’t be missed.
